Mataura Licensing Trust Award of Excellence went to Tegan Rose Vickery, of Otago Polytechnic School of Fashion.
The Otago Polytechnic iD Sustainable Excellence Award in the school section went to home-schooled student May Dyson, of Tuatapere. The design also won the Spark School Natural Fibre Award.
The 36th Hokonui Fashion Design Awards were held at the Gore Town & Country Club at the Weekend. Awards chairwoman Jacqui McKinney said the designers' efforts were outstanding.
