Dunedin’s Coastal Unity Parish gathered at the weekend to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Caversham Presbyterian Church.

Coastal Unity administrator Wendy Crawford (left) joined the parish’s oldest member, Betty Miller, 98, to cut the sesquicentennial cake at a lunch to mark 150 years since the founding of the parish (now part of Coastal Unity Parish).

The celebration, which included a service in the 1882 stone church led by Rachael Masterton, was followed by lunch at fellow Coastal Unity church St Margaret’s in Green Island, which involved more than 70 parishioners, ministers and special guests.
